Oh Yeah, I really needed something else to do, instead of doing dishes, right?
A friend of mine taught me how to knit one evening in November of 2005.
I haven't stopped knitting since! (In my spare time.) OK, you're right, sometimes
I knit when I should be doing other things. I heard that knitting can actually help
to lower your blood pressure. So, it would suffice it to say that knitting is actually healthy!
If you think about it, you can't knit and eat simultaneously. So, it's great for dieting!
(Probably doesn't burn much calories though).
Anyway, I like to experiment with yarn. For instance, old t-shirts or plastic bags.
I even tried raffia and yarn together. I thought I was going to make a bag or purse, but it's kind of looking like a work of art!
